Westwood College - Online is approved to award associate, bachelor, and master's degrees by the Colorado Department of Higher Education. All degrees conferred by Westwood College - Online are in accordance with the Colorado statutes and regulated by the Colorado Department of Higher Education. Students enrolling in Westwood College - Online are enrolled under the Colorado Department of Higher Education's requirements. Westwood College - Online will respond to all requests initiated by prospective students for information about online programs. All students, regardless of their state of origin, will receive the same protections as Colorado state residents. Westwood College - Online is not currently accepting Texas or Wisconsin residents for its programs. If you are a Texas or Wisconsin resident interested in attending Westwood College, please select one of our ground campuses. Accreditation
Westwood College is currently nationally accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) or the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS), both of which are recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Westwood received Higher Learning Commission (HLC) candidacy status in October 2007. HLC is part of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools that accredits colleges and universities. Westwood's candidacy was granted after a comprehensive review.
